Hunters Hill juniors where at 520 regos this year. Up from 455 in 2009. Third largest club in Australia.
2010 we have 19 sides in NSW Rugby’s - Sunday Competitions. U10s through to Opens (U18), the largest
junior competition in Australia. (We also run 11 minis U6 – U9 teams) 15 of our teams have made it
through to contest semi-finals. Too early to advise but again probably the best record of any junior club.

In 2009 we fielded 16 sides in Northern Zone competitions, we had 14 teams make semi’s, winning 5 titles –
11A, 11B, 11D, 12B, 13B and runners up 10C & 15C (Pete Cat) to be most successful junior club in NSW.
REPRESENTATIVE HONOURS
HHJRU has had a record number of representative players this year. 57 players made Gordon Junior Rep
teams from U10 to U16. The Gordon U12 & U16 NSW championship winning sides were dominated
by Hunters Hill Juniors. In the U16 age group (Mal & Big Fish) we had 4 boys go on to make Sydney selection
to play country. In the U15s we had 2 boys make City and one to go on to gain NSW selection. We have 3
boys from U15s & 16s currently in the ARU Talent Identification program.
From our very strong U12 age group, we have 5 boys who will be participating at the NSW Schools
Championship at Wagga this month.
Roachy, from seniors 1st grade, younger brother, a juniors old boy, is a current member of the 2009 Australian
Schoolboys team and currently a key member of the Newington’s first 15 team, leading the GPS standings.
