01/12/2011 Backs Continue to Drop Ball while Front Row Push Hard on Committee Membership

The recent elections held for members of the 2012 committee has shown the pretty boys of the game to be all talk and no walk. With the all-important webmaster Andy Ball returning and an expanded general committee and extra specialised roles available to help the clubs executive, the scene was set for many new faces to shine.

Following in the footsteps of illustrious forwards such as Widescreen (Timmy V), Seagull, Fridgey and Will Wassell is always going to be hard. Yet Uncle (Jules Arndt) has stepped up to the plate and joined the executive of the club as Secretary. We wish him all the best and offer early commiserations.

New faces in the General Committee also abound with Tim Forsyth (Prop) and Garrett Bourke (Prop) joining forces with Shieldsy (hooker), Dave Weston (Prop) and Chris Groves (An alleged prop) to counter the excesses of pretty boy winger Steve Turner.

Meanwhile the club would like to thank all the outgoing members of last years board for their contribution. Renny and Max put in a lot of effort and need to be applauded.

Will this trend continue in next years Club Captain elections where Nick Roach (Hooker) has indicated he will re-stand for election? We can only wait and see.
