TRIVIA NIGHT THIS SATURDAY
Trivia night is on THIS SATURDAY NIGHT! The cost is $30 on the
door, and includes finger food for the evening as well as the hilarious
evening of fun that is a trivia night.
This year promises to be even bigger and better, with rounds of action-packed
trivia questions, bonus rounds and games, stand up comedian, raffles, auctions,
lucky door prizes.
Plus, by registering a table of eight in advance, you’ll only have to
pay for seven people. To pre-register your team, you will need to email Danielle
Cliff here with a list of eight
names, and then pay for seven on the door on the evening. To RSVP in advance

ROUND 16 vs BALMAIN
Every game counts now coming into the semi’s and we’re pretty evenly
matched with Balmain across the board. It’ll be a big one this weekend.
RESULTS vs BLACKTOWN
Good wins to third and fourths this weekend and another heartbreaker
for firsts. It’s now ten in a row for fourths. Here’s how we
washed up on the scoreboard:

SUNJAY BIRTHDAY DRINKS AUGUST 9
Our finest US export, Maree,
is back in town next weekend too, and she’s bringing Sunjay with her.
It also happens to be Sunjay’s birthday and we’ll be having drinks
with him at the Pier after the game, followed by kebabs in Balmain at an
as-yet-undecided hour of the morning.
BYRON BAY TOUR 2008 – PLACES AND FLIGHTS
Still places left on the very memorable Byron Bay Sevens end of
season tour. This year we’re touring as the Skunks. Yes, Doddsy is
going.
The tour is from October 17-20 – if you’re interested, speak with
Chris Groves at training or you can email him here.
And if you’re touring and haven’t yet bought a flight, get on it – they’re
selling out fast! Virgin have already put a second flight on for the 17th as
there are so many people going up - so if you're flying to Byron, book your
flights fast or you'll miss out!

There will be an "Athletics meet" on Thursday 7th August after training,
with Ballybar sponsoring the suitably appropriate first prize. One not to be
missed!
END OF SEASON BUS TRIP AND AFTER-PARTY
We’re out at Blacktown in Round 18 – we’ll be taking a bus
out and partying at the Pier (and celebrating some semi’s places). Tell
the missus you’re taking the night off now.
