Fours now at 11 in a row; and first grade finally getting up! Here’s how we washed up on the scoreboard:

ROUND 17 vs BROTHERS

Brothers are the bottom of the table in second and third grades, fifth in fourth grade, and only two points ahead of us in first grade. It’s time for some ass-whoopin’. With threes and fours looking to shore up the semi’s spots, and second grade still technically in with a mathematical chance of making them, let’s make it a big weekend on the park.

Team photos will be taken before the game against Brothers on Saturday. Get there early and please wear full kit. Even if you’re injured.

CLEAN SWEEP PARTY AT THE PIER

Well, I don’t mean to be presumptuous, but I’ve got a good feeling about this weekend. So much so, that we’re going to throw a ‘clean sweep’ party. If we win all four games we’ll put some money behind the bar and make a night of it. So: if you didn’t already have enough incentive for a big game (followed by a big night), you do now.  

SUNJAY BIRTHDAY DRINKS SATURDAY AT THE PIER

Our finest US export, Maree, is back in town next weekend too, and she’s bringing Sunjay with her. It also happens to be Sunjay’s birthday and we’ll be having drinks with him at the Pier after the game, followed by kebabs in Balmain at an as-yet-undecided hour of the morning.

LAST GAME OF THE SEASON BUS TRIP
We’re out at Blacktown in Round 18 – we’ll be taking a bus out and partying at the Pier (and celebrating some semi’s places). Full details available next week…
