		18 July, 2007 - HAWKESBURY RESULTS - ROUND 14 v BLUE MOUNTAINS - BLEDISLOE CUP FUNCTION THIS SATURDAY - PAY YOUR REGISTRATION FEES! - BLACK AND WHITE BALL THIS SATURDAY - BYRON BAY TOUR RESULTS v HAWKESBURY Two apiece this weekend against Hawkesbury with seconds and fours bringing home the goods. Seconds held Hawkesbury, who they were equal to on the ladder, to nil as they ran home with a bonus point and four tries. A big shout out to a couple of injuries from the weekend - to both Ron White (ankle), and James Edwards (kneecap), who both had some bad dislocations on the weekend. Early reports are the guys might hopefully be back before the end of the season. Hope you're right fellas - not that Edwards in particular needs any more time to drink cans on the sideline. The results: 1st grade: Hawkesbury 54 df Hunters Hill 14 3 points Paddy Roberts, 2pts Matt Calderwood, 1pt Cyrus Church/Terry Dodd 2nd grade: Hunters Hill 26 df Hawkesbury 0 3 points James Edwards, 2pts Mark Brambles, 1pt The rest of the team (what a cop-out!) 3rd grade: Hawkesbury 17 df Hunters Hill 10 3 points Andrew Harvey, 2pts Lucky Harvey, 1pt The rest of the Forward Pack (what an even bigger joke!) 4th grade: Hunters Hill 12 df Hawkesbury 0 3 points Scott Liddicoat, 2pts Tom Mazzaferro, 1pt Will Wassell BLEDISLOE CUP THIS SATURDAY This weekend's Bledisloe is an early one - those Kiwis like their afternoon games. The game kicks off at 5.30pm, right after the finish of first grade. The Pier has FREE BEER from kickoff until first points scored, and we will be having speeches at half time. Make a night of it... ROUND 14 v BLUE MOUNTAINS At home this weekend against the Blue Mountains. They're doing reasonably well in all grades so we'll need a big turnout for this weekend's game. See you down there early. PAY YOUR REGISTRATION FEES! A shout-out to all the guys who are still yet to pay their fees for the 2007 season. We need you guys to pay your fees now - it's pretty important as you will not be eligible for the semi-finals if you have not paid your fees, and it's not fair on the other guys in the club who have. Fees are $200 for seniors, and $150 for students, and you get your playing shorts and socks included when you pay up. BLACK AND WHITE BALL TICKETS The Black and White Ball is on THIS SATURDAY and there are still a couple of remaining tickets, but only on sale until Thursday. The ball is 7pm for an 8pm start, but that means that you can watch the Bledisloe Cup at The Pier until 7.30pm, then go down the road for the B&W ball before it starts at 8pm.
