		6 September, 2007 - THIRDS INTO FINALS v HAWKESBURY VALLEY - SECONDS GO DOWN AGAINST PETERSHAM IN SEMI'S - DRINKS AT THE PIER AFTERWARDS - AGM AND UPCOMING DATES THIRDS INTO THE FINALS A great win to thirds on the weekend, getting up in a nailbiter against Waverley 16-11. It was a pretty close match all the way through, but nice work to the thirds for holding it together and keeping Waverley out for wave and wave of attacks at the end of the game. Third grade: Petersham 16 df Hunters Hill 11 Next week's game is against Hawkesbury Valley, the second-placed team on the ladder. A big match! And the thirds need your support. The game is being held at Norford Park, out west near Sefton, Granville, or Parramatta. Click here for a map and directions of how the hell to get there. Kick off is at 12.20pm - get there early to give the guys your support on the long weekend! SECONDS GO DOWN TO PETERSHAM In a tough match, Petersham came out firing and played considerably above what Hunters Hill were expecting after beating them recently. Petersham were leading 20-0 until the closing stages of the game, and a tough way to go out for a team that has come home strongly and looked really promising for the last two months. Thanks to Phil and Dave and the boys - until next season! Second grade: Petersham 20 df Hunters Hill 10 POST-GAME DRINKS AT THE PIER Win, lose or draw, we'll all be heading back to the Pier on Saturday after the two semi finals games. The game will finish up about 2pm so head back to the Pier from 3pm onwards for a beer and some tall tales... AGM ANNOUNCED Put Saturday September 22 down in your diaries for the AGM.
