FIRST ROUND v PETERSHAM THIS SATURDAY
Here we go! It's
the first game this weekend, kicking off Round One against Petersham.
Teams have now been selected and are on display on the whiteboard at
training tonight.
Kick off times are as follows:
Fourth grade: 12pm (be there at 11am)
Third grade: 1pm
Second grade: 2:05pm
First grade: 3:15pm
Please get there at least an hour early, and hang around after your
game to help sub for the teams above you.
We are also going to hold a special tribute to Tony Brunsdon, with the CATS planning
on attending in force to watch the games. We are going to do a brief tribute
before kick off for first grade, including a few words and a minute's silence.
CLUB CAPTAIN ELECTIONS AFTER TRAINING TONIGHT
Tonight after training is a big night for the season as well. The Bally
Bar will be open for business, and we will be making a few announcements before
Saturday's games.
According to tradition, the club will nominate and elect a new Club Captain for
the season - the players' representative for the club, both internally and externally.
It's a big honour and I would recommend that you like beer if you're thinking
of applying.
Finally, we'll also have a special motivational speaker following the elections
and other business to talk through some tips for the season.
START OF SEASON PARTY AT THE PIER
Following the games on Saturday, we will all retire back to the Woolwich
Pier for the formal after-match speeches, and the START OF SEASON PARTY!
We'll be handing out special Hunters Hill Rugby Membership Cards at training
tonight, which will entitle the bearer to cheap drinks across the bar at the
Woolwich Pier - this Saturday, and throughout the season.
All are welcome from 6pm for speeches and 7pm for festivities, so please invite
friends, family and associates, it will be a big one!
BRUNNO'S FAREWELL
Thank you to all of you who attended and gave their respects
to Tony Brunsdon last Friday, both at St Thomas' Church, and afterwards
at the Hunters Hill Club.

REGISTRATION FEES BEING ACCEPTED NOW
$200 (same as last season) contact our
Treasurer, Danielle Cliff or Registrar, Ron White.
You can pay in instalments 2 x $100, 4 x $50, 8 x $25 or
10 x $20.
The easiest way is to pay on the
internet, just remember to include your name on the payment details, so we know
who you are.

Payment of fees for the season up front is preferred (this season
fees are $200 for seniors), or we can work out a payment schedule to be
paid into the club's bank account.

The registration desk will be set up at training tonight - if you have not signed
up for the season, you won't be covered for insurance on Saturday!
