THIS WEEK'S RESULTS
A mixed week of results against Balmain, with an even split of wins on the board. The rampaging fifth grade team had a great run though and it's great to see we've got the depth for so many guys to have to field the team.
Here's how we washed up on the scoreboard:

1st grade: Balmain 32 df Hunters Hill 10
(Timmy Vertoudakis 1 try; Matt Calderwood 1 try)
3 points Ben Smith; 2 pts Timmy V; 1 pt Brian Walker

2nd grade: Hunters Hill 16 df Balmain 15
(Cyrus Church 1 try; Pat Feige 1 try; Matt Lane 2 penalties)
3 points Nick Giacomini; 2 pts Paul Roberts; 1 pt Nati Danielson

3rd grade: Balmain 22 df Hunters Hill 5
(Matt MacRae 1 try)
3 points Codi Herewini; 2 pts Cam Van Oirschot; 1 pt Albert Patu

4th grade: Hunters Hill 12 drew with Balmain 12
(Matthew Payne 1 try; Chris Morrison 1 try; Mark Lucey 1 goal)
3 points Matthew Payne; 2pts William Carew; 1 pt Matthew Booker

5th grade: Hunters Hill 31 thumped Balmain 7
3 points Ross Warrack; 2pts Cody Herewini; 1pt Nick Scott

ROUND 3 vs BROTHERS
We are at home this weekend against Brothers, and with Brothers on the bottom of the Club Championship, we should be aiming for a keg (a clean sweep of all four grades this weekend). Let's put it in and give it to these guys this weekend - because we're at home at Boronia. The usual kick-off times apply, but please get there early for warm-up, and hang around to reserve for the game after yours finishes.

POST-GAME SPEECHES AND FREE SUPER 14 BEERS AT THE PIER
Speeches will be back at the Pier after the game, and with the Waratahs v Lions game kicking off at 5.30pm, and the Brumbies v Sharks game at 7.40pm, there will be FREE BEERS from kickoff until first points scored, and cheap beers and wines when you flash your membership card for the rest of the night. Make a night of it.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TO HELP ON SATURDAY
We need a few people to help out with the field set-up (from 10.30 at Boronia Park - please ask Chris Burnside or Ben Smith what you can do to help) and also a couple of people to help out in the canteen (anytime throughout the day - just ask Bek in the canteen). Even if it's just for 15 minutes, we'd love your help.

FUNDRAISING
Please bring in any money you've raised selling you chocolates and voucher books to Grovesy. There's plenty more where they came from, so if you've sold (eaten) them all already, please feel free to ask for more! Chris Groves is the point man with the fundraising activities, for any questions, or if you want more chocolates, grab him at training or email him here.

ANDY BALL STANDS UP
Tired of no-one listening, Andy Ball has found a way in which people are forced to listen. Five minutes of stand up. Self confessed sly grog runner Andy Ball again takes to the stage and hopes that people laugh. 'I'm always much funnier when I'm pissed' says Andy, 'and tougher, and better looking oh oh and richer.'

This stand up attempt, includes such well known jokes as, why do clowns smell funny? and what's up with late night kebabs ?

Location - Roxbury Hotel - Glebe
WEDNESDAY, 30th APRIL - 8pm start - arrive early and have something to eat.
What to bring - spare jokes for Bally

GOODRIDE TYRES ON BOARD FOR SEASON 2008
We would like to welcome on board for season 2008 a new sponsor, Goodride Tyres. They have committed to help us out with a contribution towards the Byron Tour, our kit and gear as well as some additional operational costs for the season. It's great to have them on board for the season, so please remember next time you need new tyres to check out Goodride.

BYRON BAY TOUR
If you're planning on touring, or interested in touring this year, Chris Groves is on the lookout for tour deposits. This is a $50 commitment up front to the tour, and also contributes to the bond for the house. All tourists also need to make sure that they have their rego fees paid up in full, as this covers your insurance for the tour.
Interested in finding out more about the tour? Have a look at last year's tour report here, or you can email Grovesy here.
