35
gorgeous ladies arrived for what is known as Hunters Hills Ladies day.
The Boys had organised a couple of gas heaters for the day but forgot the
gas bottles, so the heaters promised so much but delivered so little. That
couldn't be said for the food.
The Ladies started the day off with the finest of antipasta. Dips, olives, cheeses, sun dried everythings followed by Shrimp (generously donated by Andy Moystn) and salads. Chicken Kebabs were also on the menu but didn't quite hit the barbeque until way after the ladies had decided that eating was no longer in vogue.
Prizes were also on offer with items such as pamper packs, dinner for two, flowers, bottles of wine. A few of the fellas ended up winning flowers so they had high hopes for the evening.
The supplied music was sensational however a little quiet and how could you go past the promised entertainment, (watching the highest standard of amateur rugby available at Boronia Park on that day).
The ground marshall was seen in concerned conversation discussing the state of potholes around the ladies marquee. It was thought that the holes had been fixed but not to a high enough standard as there were a few falls from the fillys (no names).
Once again feedback was that the ladies day went quite well and thanks to all who put in the effort to make the day work.
