31st May 2008 - Ladies Day

From all accounts, Ladies day was a huge success. The sun shone, the music played and the champagne flowed while the ladies enjoyed a relaxing day at the rugby.

Thank you to everyone involved in the planning and execution of the day.

I know I will miss someone out, so if it is you, I am sorry, but the following are deserving of a big shout out:

Alex Light, Brett Ruth, Will Wassell & Pat Feige.  Without your efforts in the canteen, I wouldn't have been able to run around like a headless chook making sure that the ladies every whim was satisfied.

Glen & Amanda Truelove - for the donation of the amazing flower arrangements for the tables and Lucky door prize.

Glen Truelove - for leaving the games to go and get the thirsty Ladies more champagne when we almost ran out.

Bel Colley, Lisa Crocker, Jim Bone - for helping organise donations to the raffle prizes

Andrew Mostyn - for the prawns that were enjoyed by not only the ladies but the boys back at the pier at the end of the day.

Paul Shields - for organising the hire of the Marquee, tables & chairs etc

Bek Smith, Bel Piesnik & Charmaine for helping set up all the balloons in the marquee.

And last but not least Thank you to Jim Bone for helping me buy everything and letting me bark orders at him on Saturday and just generally putting up with me since the organisation for the day began.
