5th July 2008 - Poker at the Pier!

The HHRUFC Poker Night was held on Saturday 5th July 2008 at the Woolwich Pier Hotel, run by the Australian Poker League ( APL ) & Sponsored by Wild Turkey.

The turn-out for the night was a little shy of numbers, (Yank was excused as he was in hospital for much of the evening having his head stiched up, as was Cumshot, as he was in hospital having his nose re-set - his modelling career might yet be saved!)
However for those there, it was alot of fun, & raised a small amount of money.

Brett 'Mufti' Ruth, & Pat 'Lara' Feige both signed up for & paid for their seats (thanks boys), & then had other unavoidable commitments (some weak excuses like work & family...)
 
Tim 'Snoop Doddy-Dodds' was a keen, albeit incomprehensible, observer, & Rebbecca 'Gobbledok' Smith was official photograhper (pics to be provided by Tampon).

The evening started off with two poker tables, & was narrowed down to one,with the eventual playoff between Tampon & Uluru, with big Uluru taking out the main prize - a $300 Wild Turkey Poker set, including a large bottle of Wild Turkey - Poker Nights at Uluru's place!
Tampon, ever-gracious in defeat, was heard to exclaim "Bloody Saffas!"...
 
Schapelle's magnificent waitering skills cannot go unmentioned, nor can Harris's alarmingly well taken defeat - watch out for him at training, he could be quite volatile!
